Quick Tip: Organize Double Time in Your Child’s Closet

by Jennifer on July 12th, 2008

If you have a small child, hanging up two clothing rods vs. one can make it easier for your little one to start choosing outfits. You can hang non-essentials like dressy clothing and winter coats up high, and keep everyday wear down low. The best thing about double closet rods in a child’s closet is that you can often fit everything on one side of a double closet and then have room for toys and such on the other side.

It’s not really organized, but I found a hanging organizer on ReUseIt, that was 4 fairly large attached cubes, with circular holes on top of each cube, it goes down to the floor of my close, and my 2.5 year old can reach the bottom 2 for sure, (I think she can reach the second from the top as well, as she’s moved around my clothes, which i tossed in the top two), so I have her put her own clothes away and she enjoys it.
