Anywhere Vault is offering a great giveaway prize to three lucky Declutter It readers. To keep this giveaway post nice, short, and sweet, I won’t be talking about the company right now. No worries though, in the next few weeks we’ll take a closer look at the Anywhere Vault company, the services they provide, and discuss tips that can help you maximize the service. I’ll be doing a review as well.
What you can win:
Three readers will each win a Platinum level Anywhere Vault subscription. That’s an $80 value, one full year of service, and a total of 1GB of inventory space. A great prize! This prize will get your home inventory situation safely and securely under control. No more worries about where you put those holiday receipts; no more wondering when you bought the DVD player. Nice!

Now through July 7th, midnight, West Coast time.
Who can enter:
If you’re not blogging at Declutter It, you can enter. Yup, that means I’m the only human disqualified; lucky for you.

Three steps - easy. I just want to make sure you’re interested. This is a great prize if you’re looking to create a safe and secure home inventory online. If online inventory is not for you - don’t enter, because someone who could really use the service may not get to.
Winner’s rules:

I was planning on doing just what the website offers in the next few weeks with all our receipts. I was going to send everything to a newly created e-mail address dedicated just for that but using a software like the Vault is even better.

For me, it’s perfect because it means I don’t have to worry about the paper anymore. I’m terribly disorganized with paperwork and I’ve been losing receipts for as long as I can remember which has caused me more hassles than I care to recollect right now. Keeping a picture and receipt together in an organized way like this is exactly what I need. Fantastic!

I live in a high crime neighborhood that is also subject to hurricanes. I need to keep an offsite inventory of my belongings at all times. I had never heard of Anywhere Vault, but I could certainly use a service of this nature. It’s good to know that there is software like this to keep me organized and protected.

I’ve been planning on borrowing my boss’s scanner over summer to scan my documents and do an inventory - there can always happen anything… And since my backpack with wallet, keys, driver’s license (let alone the memories… ;-<) was stolen last weekend, I am DEFINITELY into getting inventories - it’s just so hard to come up with detailed descriptions when you are talking to the insurance-companies. Vault looks like a great system - safe, reliable… I was thinking about burning CDs and storing them outside my place, but having access to the inventory from EVERYWHERE sounds even better! Thanks for the idea - and the giveaway! ;-)

This would be nice, because right now I back things up to raided hard drives in the house which cover the scenario where something happens to my computer, but doesn’t address catastrophes at all which is when it’s most likely that we’d need the info!
