Declutter It’s Most Improved Room Contest
Welcome to September everyone! Can you believe it’s September already? I can’t.
As I said, I would be announcing a contest today and here it is: Declutter It’s Most Improved Room Contest!
I am really excited about this and I think we are all going to have a lot of fun. Okay, so here are the details:
- Send in before and after pictures of a room that you have recently organized. (If you can not upload them and send them through email, then contact me for my mailing address.) You may only enter once.
- I’d like to see pictures of drawers, cabinets and pantries…not just a room that is “surface” clean. ;)
- The contest will run from today, September 1st, until September 30th.
- I will post the pictures on Declutter It! throughout the month for all to see. I will only post your first name and the state you are from. If you would like to remain completely anonymous, please let me know.
- Sometime during the first week of October, I will create a poll for everyone to vote on which room they think deserves to win.
- I will let the poll run for about a week.
- I will then announce the winner and the winner will receive…a gift basket full of organizing goodies, which is currently valued at $50 and rising!! (Check the sidebar to see current contest sponsors.)
I think that’s all the details for now. If I think of more, I’ll add them.
Let’s get our houses ready for fall! Just start with that one room. Once you see how good it feels, you will then be ready to tackle the rest of the house. If you don’t know where to start, here are a few posts to help you get started:

Wow, the contest looks great. I love how you got the sponsor pictures. Sadly I am a tidy girl. But if I see a mess I will surly take a picture. I’ll do a couple of plugs for this too at Offbeat and my personal blog. I’m not messy — but my friends. Holy.

Shoot! Come on people, this is a fun one!
I tried to go through and find pictures of our laundry room before we re-did it. It’s the smallest room in the house and we’ve gone nuts with it, utilizing every space possible for organization but I can’t find any before pictures. :(

Bummer, oh well…maybe I’ll add these prizes to our scavenger hunt prize if no one enters.
